Aloha, I would like to introduce myself as a citizen first of Haiku Town and a Naturopathic Physician & Registered Nurse. I am a 1984 graduate of Bastyr University, Kenmore, Washington, who is in private practice as a family practitioner. I also had a 20 year midwifery practice in Encinitas, California.

I am a mother of two, home birthed son and two grandchildren.

I have embraced being one of the Maui citizens to step forward to back this GMO Moratorium due to a deep love and respect for nature and our planet that we live on. As a Naturopathic physician, I took an oath to do no harm and to teach my patients how to maintain optimum health. With the hazardous pesticide farming practices of GMO companies and the high toxicity of these foods, I could not turn away from my responsibility to speak up and help protect present and future generations to come.
