My postdoctoral work was the study of the liberation and clarification of consciousness as it relates to personal health and the environment. It was clear 40 years ago that corporations were contaminating the environment in ways that devastate public health while government agencies failed to study or control those impacts. No surprise then, four decades later, that there is a worldwide cancer epidemic. Maui and Hawaii are at the epicenter of radical crop experiments and our citizens are quickly succumbing to the impacts of these chemical onslaught. It is my duty to act to protect our keiki and the aina.
